Service is friendly. The landlord doesn't. We were informed very rudely that if someone gets up from the table and the mask is not on, he throws this person out of the restaurant.

Not recommended!! The landlord is rude and threatens to be kicked out ... although hygiene rules were observed ... never to the butcher again!

Honest, hearty restaurant just a few steps away from the shopping mile. Great value for money. All corona rules are followed

Cozy Bavarian tavern in a side street in the pedestrian zone of Bad Tölz. Munich Augustiner beer is served. The menu is plentiful, which made us a little skeptical at first. The rooms are simply rustic, the walls could use a coat of paint. The service was quick and friendly. Our meal, cabbage wraps with potatoes for € 9.50 was large and tasty, the 1/4 duck with bread dumplings and red cabbage for € 10.50 was just as big and the meat was already lean and soft. Unfortunately, the dumpling was too hard. Price / performance good. Local is recommended.

The duck was unfortunately very dry and the sauce was so strange that it "talked" to me hours later. However, my companion was very satisfied with the beef goulash. With the beer anyway.

Very good Bavarian cuisine with very friendly service. Is a bit more hidden but it is even more worth it! We feel very comfortable here every time.

Very good cuisine, excellent beer and the service the two young ladies were very friendly and attentive will definitely come back a few times while I'm still here. And for the winter (the restaurant is reserved for Christmas markets. Again and again.

An absolute joke at the price! When asked, the waitress didn't know what was on the menu of the day. The “sauce” is colored water and the roulades were so overcooked that they fell apart when you look at them. It smelled very unpleasant in the guest room. Never again

Beautiful surroundings around it, nice ambience inside, but unfortunately not filled with life ... If the two landlords ran a specialty restaurant with Slavic cuisine, the shop might even be a hit. However, in my experience, the food is not tasty and the service is very reserved. But the microwave device plays a nice song.

Everyone said it would be highly recommended. I ordered a beef sirloin steak that was well done and got bigger and bigger in the mouth, which is a shame. Salad dressing didn't go well with the salad and the sauce was too thin. The knuckle my husband got was too salty, too, watery sauce. Maybe that's the way it is in Bavaria, unfortunately we didn't like it.

Just had the most amazing dinner at this place. After traveling across Europe, this is by far one of my top three places I've enjoyed food at. If you want tastes that wow you and make you feel like you can't get enough, come to this place and enjoy a well cooked home like meal, absolutely amazing is all I can say. The chef cooks like a world class chef, and I believe it's a husband and wife that run the restaurant, service was great, I had their salad, with a beef sirloin steak and noodles in black pepper corn sauce along with the apple strudel with vanilla ice cream. Just wow!!!

Very tasty food at reasonable prices.

A beautiful Bavarian inn and apparently also popular with the Tölzer craftsmen, who enjoyed the schnitzel and cheese noodles especially well. Unfortunately, I was not so happy with my simple roast pork. Very fat, no Krusterl and the sauce were spices and garlic (I think granules), which do not belong there. However, the landlord said that they always do this.

Portion was adequate and flavorful! Price / performance was good! Service was nice! Cozy Bavarian restaurant! Can I recommend in good conscience!

Very accommodating and awesome food. I ate the "Hirschgulasch" and it was perfect in all aspects! They also have a large variety of drinks as well as a children menu and seniors menu. I am visiting this restaurant everytime I am in Bad Tölz and they consistently fulfilled all expectations for a "Gutbürgerliches Wirtshaus".

Certainly one of the most delicious german dishes one can ever try. I recommend the Gebakene Schweinshaxe and the Hirschgulasch. Price is very fair. We were 5 people had 5 main courses and beer for 87 euros.

Loved the relaxed atmosphere, kind locals, and good food.
